I was tasked with the creation of a content-driven WordPress website for a cloud-based, full-service HR platform.

The Challenge
As an HR software and benefits administration platform, PeopleStrategy’s website needed to stand above similar SaaS products in a super competitive marketplace. But internal stakeholders felt the site’s design was outdated and confusing to prospective customers. The visitors they did get were unqualified, meaning it wasn’t acting as the lead generation tool they needed.
The Solution
We redesigned the website with a primary focus on creating a user-centric experience. A mega menu made it easy for visitors to quickly find the content they wanted, despite it being a sizable site with hundreds of individual pages and posts. And our targeted copy that spoke directly to their buyer personas easily rolled into a content-first strategy to keep the website fresh after launch.
From a design perspective, we incorporated a larger color palette–while keeping in line with brand standards–and created a functional, reusable icon set.
Sitemap & Wireframes
Created mood boards and wireframes to visualize the concept and gather stakeholder input before moving into high-fidelity designs.
Led the final design execution, maintaining consistent branding and ensuring the design was scalable for future updates.
The Outcome
After launch, we posted multiple blogs per month with internal links to other posts and gated content housed in HubSpot. As a result:
• Referral traffic increased 4x
• Homepage views almost doubled
• Visits to their payroll services page went up by 194%
• Organic traffic went up by 8%
• Number of keywords in the Top 10 spot rose by 27%


Mobile Optimization
Ensured the new design was fully responsive, offering an equally rich experience on smartphones and tablets as on desktops. This was essential for improving accessibility and engagement for users on the go.
App Store / Google Play Layout
Tailored their brand identity for both the App Store and Google Play to help reinforce PeopleStrategy’s user experience and drive engagement to their HR app. With a strong visual identity, PeopleStrategy stands out, captures attention, and fosters deeper connections with their audience.
